Mark F. Dehnert

Mark F. Dehnert is a former financial executive with 30 years of experience in investment banking, securities, and investment management. He formerly served as managing director of Goldman Sachs Execution & Clearing, L.P, overseeing the Prime Services Risk team globally for Prime Services in the Securities Division. Prior to that, he was head of the Quantitative Trading and Specialists business. Mr. Dehnert was named managing director in 2000, following Goldman Sachs' acquisition of the Hull Group, and partner in 2002.

Mr. Dehnert joined the Hull Group as a financial engineer in 1992. He spent time in both Europe and Asia working on exchange-based equity and option trading strategies and was named a principal at Hull in 1996. In 2002, Mr. Dehnert moved to New York to help develop a strategist group for the Equities Division. In 2004, he was named head of the Quantitative Trading business in Equities.

Mr. Dehnert earned a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis.

Mr. Dehnert is a Public Director on OCC’s Board of Directors and serves on the Regulatory Committee and Risk Committee (Chair).
