Peter Maragos
Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of DASH Financial Technologies
Peter Maragos is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of DASH Financial Technologies, a multi-asset execution and capital markets technology provider. Since co-founding the business in 2009, Mr. Maragos has led the firm through several significant, strategic corporate transactions and has grown DASH into the industry’s leading U.S. options technology and execution provider. Prior to DASH, he served as CEO of LiquidityPort, a fully electronic brokerage platform for all NYMEX ClearPort products, and he also previously served as CEO of SDS Financial Technologies, where he built and operated several trading platforms for the OTC markets.
Mr. Maragos has won various industry awards, including Financial Technology Report’s Top 50 Financial CEOs of 2020, and he has been listed in Institutional Investor’s “Trading Technology 40” on multiple occasions. He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a Bachelor of Science in Resource Economics.
Mr. Maragos is a Member Director on OCC's Board of Directors and serves on the Compensation and Performance Committee and the Technology Committee.
