Senior Vice President, Global Head of Product Innovation, Cboe Global Markets
Rob Hocking is Senior Vice President, Global Head of Product Innovation for Cboe Global Markets, leading the strategic vision for its derivatives ecosystem. Managing Cboe’s product innovation arm, he oversees the team focused on the proprietary product franchise; derivatives microstructure; and next-generation risk-transfer products, tools and education. Through his oversight of The Options Institute, Cboe remains steadfast in its commitment to investor education.
For more than 18 years, Mr. Hocking was a Cboe Options Exchange member, trading permit holder and active member of the Product Development Committee. Prior to joining Cboe in 2018, he was Global Head of Equity Volatility Trading at DRW Trading in Chicago. He also held senior positions at Goldman Sachs and Hull Trading. He achieved a Bachelor of Science in finance and economics from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
Mr. Hocking is a Member Director on OCC's Board of Directors. He serves on the Compensation and Performance Committee and the Risk Committee.
