Andrej Bolkovic
Chief Executive Officer
Andrej Bolkovic is the Chief Executive Officer at OCC, the world's largest equity derivatives clearing organization. He also serves as the Management Director on OCC’s Board of Directors.
As CEO, Mr. Bolkovic has oversight responsibilities for OCC's information technology, financial risk management, corporate risk management, corporate finance, security services, external relations, human resources, internal audit, legal and compliance functions. He joined OCC in 2022.
Mr. Bolkovic has over 25 years of experience in the global financial industry. Prior to joining OCC, he served as the CEO of Akuna Capital, LLC and its affiliated broker dealer, Akuna Securities, LLC. From 2016-2020, he was the CEO of ABN AMRO Clearing Chicago, LLC with overall responsibility for the broker-dealer and Futures Commission Merchant activities of the firm. From 2007-2016 Mr. Bolkovic worked for ABN AMRO Clearing Bank NV in the Netherlands serving several roles, including Global Chief Information Officer, Chief Operations Officer, and executive board member. Mr. Bolkovic started his career in 1995 in the information technology and securities division of ING Bank and later joined Capgemini Netherlands with responsibilities including consultancy and program management.
He has served on the Supervisory Board of equities clearing house EMCF, as chairman of the Supervisory Board of derivatives clearing house Holland Clearing House, and as a non-executive director of ICE Clear Netherlands. From 2017 until 2020, Mr. Bolkovic also served on OCC’s Board of Directors as a member of both the Technology Committee and the Compensation and Performance Committee.
Mr. Bolkovic received a master’s degree in English language and literature from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a post graduate degree in business administration from HES Amsterdam. He has held the Series 3, 4, 7, 24, 57 and 63 licenses.
Mr. Bolkovic is the Management Director on OCC’s Board of Directors and serves on the Risk Committee and Technology Committee.
